Trials - Luke 23:13-25

6 Trials in total.  Any just judge would have found Christ guiltless...sinless...perfect.  Our worlds judges condemned Him all the same.  It was the providence of God that allowed it but that doesn't make what humanity did right.

Then as He is crucified, Jesus took upon Himself our sin and shame - physically, emotionally, spiritually.  He who knew no sin became sin so that we might become the righteousness of God.  It was at that point that the wrath and judgment of God placed separation between Father & Son.  The sin-cursed flesh of Christ died that day and when Jesus rose again He did not carry that flesh or its curse with it any longer.  Instead He carried the salvation for His People...for you and for me!  He carried victory over sin and death and hell.

It was then that Jesus would once again take His rightful place at the right hand of God.  The payment for sin's judgment had been paid in full and He would now be seated at the right hand of the Father at the throne that we could now and forever enter boldly (Hebrews 4:16).

Jesus, God's Son, did this for you.  Do you believe this?  If so, respond to this great act of love by giving your love to Him.  Respond to this great act of grace by making Jesus The Lord of your life.
