Spend much time in a courtroom? Watch the Judge call forward person by person and dispense his best take on justice? It is a nerve-wracking time. I wouldn't want the job.

As we continue to look at our beliefs on 'the end', we will look at the second truth:

In His own time, God will bring this current world to an end when Jesus will return as King to judge all those (living and dead).  Those displaying Christ Righteousness will be given their reward of eternal life with God.  The unrighteous will be sent to everlasting punishment in hell. My life is victorious based only upon how I follow Christ not upon my accomplishments. Final victory will be met with these words from my Savior “Well done, My good and faithful servant”.  My hope is found in the eternal Victory and Joy of living in the presence of God forever.

Jesus, our Savior, will now be Judge. Read Acts 10:42-43 - And he ordered us to preach everywhere and to testify that Jesus is the one appointed by God to be the judge of all—the living and the dead. He is the one all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through His name.

judgment is a fearful thought but if we lean upon Gods Word for understanding then it can be a hopeful truth. Revelation 20:11-15 shows us a close-up of that day: And I saw a great white throne and the one sitting on it. The earth and sky fled from his presence, but they found no place to hide. I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God’s throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books. The sea gave up its dead, and death and the grave gave up their dead. And all were judged according to their deeds. Then death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire. This lake of fire is the second death. And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Jesus will judge all men who will fall into two categories:

1. Judged according to our own works (alone). All our deeds are recorded...ALL. If this is all God sees on that day then our deeds will be prove lacking.

2. Judged according to the work of Jesus on the cross...(that covers all our works) . If Jesus is our Lord then He owns us...deeds and all. His ownership is ultimately proved by our name being recorded in The Book Of Life.

You and I want to be judged by the work of Jesus. You and I want to have our names found in the book of life. To do that, we trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior and follow Him for life. Follow Him today!
