Last week my family spent spring break in our future home city of Casper, Wyoming. The purpose was a mixture of fun, planning and house shopping.
The fun was had as my wife and daughters enjoyed their first time skiing on Hogadon. They did great. At the same time I seemingly enjoyed my first/last time skiing on Hogadon. I am now considering bird-watching as my new outdoor recreation.
The planning was several great meetings with a local church called Boyd Ave Baptist Church. I am thankful for this great church, its pastor (Quin Williams) and its heart for the city where it ministers (Casper).
The house shopping was a highlight. We needed a home to move to in June as we prepare to launch this new church. We have looked at so many homes and the Casper market has moved faster than we could respond. Our Realtor (Chris Larramendy) is fabulous and worked so hard. She found a home that was perfect and we bought it. The price was good. The banking relationship worked great (First Interstate Bank - Dave Maxner is an awesome loan officer). So we have a place to call home in our new home of Casper!
God is at work and has blessed us as we strive to walk in His Way.
