Help is on the way!

What a great and timely word from The Word.  Thanks Johannes!  Dig into this today.  I know that many people feel exactly this way.

[7] Then the LORD said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I know their sufferings, [8] and I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey,………… (Exodus 3:7-8 ESV)

I love this story!! You see in today’s text God talking to Moses about the Israelites. The Israelites have been suffering under the new Pharaoh and crying out to God to deliver them.

In our lives we get hit with hard times or things that are just too much for us...things that we cannot change no matter how hard we try. Maybe today yours is a job that you feel you just cannot do any longer. Maybe you are without a job and your finances and your emotions are at a critical level. Maybe your marriage is a point that you are about to give in. It might be that life in general seems too hard and there is no light at the end of the tunnel.

Today God has an encouraging word for you. Then the LORD said, “I have ……. heard their cry.

God hears your cries!! The people of Israel has been crying out for over 80 years for God to deliver them from the hand of Pharaoh! OVER 80 YEARS!! How long have you been crying for help and it seems like nothing is happening? Though you suffer you are still surviving. God have not left you.

Here is the great part about today’s passage and I have come down to deliver them

You see the Israelites had no idea that God was talking to Moses and telling Him to go get His people out of Egypt. They had no idea that God already described how He was going to do it and neither did they know that Moses was on the way to them and soon they would be set free.

The same goes to for you today. God heard your cry and help is on the way!! You might not see it, it might take some time to get to you but God is sending you help to deliver you out of your situation. Do not lose hope and just keep trusting and calling to Him. Just like the Israelites did not see Moses coming you don’t know who and what is coming your way. What you do know is that you have a good, good Father up in heaven that loves you so much that He send His Son to die for you.

Do not lose hope help is coming!!
