The Plight of not Knowing God

Romans 1 is a powerful section of truth in the quest to Know God.  Read verses 19-22:

19 They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. 20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. 21 Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn't worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. 22 Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools.

A few questions...

How did God reveal the truth about Himself?  Answer - thru Creation.

Why does humanity have no excuse for not knowing God?  Answer - Creation was enough.

Why is knowing 'about God' not enough?  Answer - Even the demons know about God but choose not to worship Him.  Likewise, humanity that denies His eternal power and divine nature choose not to worship or even give Him thanks.

Why is it so hard for man to navigate this life when they don't Know God?  Answer - Without the Light of Knowing Him, our minds are dark and confused and we are foolish.

This is the plight of man without His Creator and is remedied by Faith.  Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.

Today, you can place your faith into a God who created everything by His command...from nothing!

Psalm 33:6 The LORD merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born. 7 He assigned the sea its boundaries and locked the oceans in vast reservoirs. 8 Let the whole world fear the LORD, and let everyone stand in awe of him. 9 For when he spoke, the world began! It appeared at his command.
