3:16 Plan - Day 1 - Week 8 - Job 26-28

In search of true wisdom, be sure what ‘spirit’ you listen to…

Pray The Word and Prepare for The Word

Psalm 100:1 A psalm of thanksgiving. Shout with joy to the LORD, all the earth! 2 Worship the LORD with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. 3 Acknowledge that the LORD is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. 5 For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.

Job’s heart-cry in Chapter 26-28 is for true wisdom.  He wants to know why this has happened and doesn’t want to hear any more earthly wisdom.  Luckily, he won’t hear any…as the next scenes amp up the heavenly wisdom!

Job agrees with his friends on this issue:  God is infinite and majestic.  That is not in question.  He continues to hammer away at his integrity and his desire to know the true reason for this calamity.

Lord, my ‘rights’ are no longer what I deem is right for me but what You see as right for me and for Your plans.

Extra Discovery

Job wishes his friends had truly Godly wisdom to share. Read Proverbs 3 for a great insight as to where and how to find true wisdom.
