Pray The Word and Prepare for The Word
Psalm 86:15 - But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.
Read - Exodus 35-36
God had already given these instructions to Moses to give to the people but their sin (The Golden Calf) interrupted the full transmission…so His Mercy and Grace are shown as He re-states their ‘opportunity’ to support the building of the Tabernacle by giving of their fineries. This time they respond with great generosity so that they even give more than is needed. Does generosity come easy to you?
Bezalel and Oholiab build the Tabernacle to the exact specs given by God. We prove our spiritual gifts when we use our spiritual gifts.
Lord give me a generous heart so that I may share Your blessings with others.

Worship is often confined to the church walls, the temple walls, the tabernacle curtains. Today, we are able to worship God in spirit and in truth anywhere we find ourselves. We are called to give our lives as living sacrifices and told that this is the worship that God accepts (Romans 12:2). This is the ultimate ‘Obedient Serving’. In today’s text, the Israelites seem to have been primarily motivated by fear to act. Let our worship be motivated out of a mind that Knows God and a heart that Loves God!
