Your spiritual journey will have many stages. Do you keep track so you can remember from where God has brought you?
Pray The Word and Prepare for The Word
Psalm 63 - My God, You are my God and I will ever praise You.
Read - Numbers 33-34
As we are challenged to remember, we must not only remember what we want. Remembrance is important so that we know the instructions of our God. Remembrance is important so we don’t repeat the mistakes of our past. Remembrance is a help to our faith because we can see what God has done before.
Chapter 34 gives the boundaries of this Promised Land. Boundaries that were filled with enemies of God and Israel. These boundaries served as a territory for a war that would dominate our reading in the weeks to come but dominated the lives of these Israelites.
What boundaries You set in my life, I commit to live within them in victory.
A great song as we remember all that The Lord has done:
A powerful help in your Knowledge of God is having both a good ‘forgetter’ and a good ‘rememberer’. Learning to forget the things that the enemy uses to distract us or shame us is vital to having the mental and spiritual energies needed. Needed for what? To remember God’s Word, God’s Instructions, God’s Promises and God’s Commission to us!
