Pray The Word and Prepare for The Word

Psalm 25:4 Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow. 5 Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.

Read - Psalm 24-26

Psalm 24 shows the powerful Creator God who is known as the King of Glory.

Psalm 25 reminds us that although we struggle to forget the wrongs done to us, God is able to forgive and forget!

Psalm 26 finds David asking God to see the difference between him (integrity) and his enemies (liars).  For the follower of Jesus, the difference we want Holy God to see between us is simply the presence of His Son and Spirit.

Lord, help me to find my rest and peace in You.

A great hymn taken from Psalm 24: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fT4Rt04In4w

Psalm 24 speaks of the ones who can climb the mountain of God. It is those with clean hands, clean hearts who do not worship idols.  Do you see the triangle message here?  Worship God and not an idol (at the top of the triangle).  Have clean hearts (on the lower left, where we grow in right relationship to Him).  Have clean hands (down in the lower right…that serve Him faithfully with integrity).  What a prayer!  That we would become a people who Worship God with clean heart and hands!
