Apply

Psalm 27 - is a call to God for when we are in a dark spot and need God’s help.

Psalm 28 - calls to God to listen to us when we pray.  Do you ever feel like your prayers aren’t being heard?  It may not be that they aren’t heard but that the answer to them is in a different form than you expected.

Psalm 29 - is a call to worship.  We need to be reminded that worship is one of our acts of service that pleases God.

Yield

Lord, I will worship You even when the answers to my prayers are not evident.

Extra Discovery

God is light and in Him there is no darkness.  Psalm 27 speaks of Him being ‘our light’.  Light illuminates and God’s Word is full of illumination for us:  https://www.gotquestions.org/biblical-illumination.html

Revelation

Another way of looking at the triangle of Knowing/Loving/Serving is this:  We come to know God when we live in the light rather than the dark.  As we serve Him, we find the abundant Life He promised.
