3:16 Plan - Week 35 - Day 5 - Year 1 - Psalm 69, 70

Psalm 69, 70

Feeling stuck? The God who saves is strong enough to pull you out of even the worst mess!

Pray The Word and Prepare for The Word

Psalm 70:4-5 - But may all who search for you be filled with joy and gladness in you. May those who love your salvation repeatedly shout, "God is great!" 5 But as for me, I am poor and needy; please hurry to my aid, O God. You are my helper and my savior; O LORD, do not delay.

Apply

For those of us oppressed by the evil actions of others there is hope. David was often maligned by gossip and slander. It is an unfortunate part of the fallout of our brokenness. Rather than fall into the action of retaliation, ask God to rescue you from the mud as David does in Psalm 68.

Yield

Lord, I will keep praying to you even when I feel stuck in the mud.

Extra Discovery

Psalm 69:9 is quoted in the gospel accounts of Jesus cleansing the temple. Take a look at John 2:13-22.

Revelation

God is always right on time.  He is not motivated by our chronological view but is operating on a holy type of time (the Greek word and concept is Kairos). As we seek to serve Him let us not forget that Knowing He is always right on His time means that we need never feel abandoned, unheard or passed by.
