Turn panic into praise and trouble into trust!
Pray The Word and Prepare for The Word
Psalm 11:4 - But the LORD is in his holy Temple; the LORD still rules from heaven. He watches everyone closely, examining every person on earth.
Read - Psalm 11, Psalm 12, Psalm 13
Psalm 11 is a prescription for us in times of panic. In times of trouble we can trust a stable God.
Psalm 12 polarizes the proud and lying words of people verses the true and pure words of God. No comparison!
Psalm 13 reminds us that God doesn’t always answer immediately and when he doesn’t we must not despair but must continue to trust in Him.
Lord, I will trust in You even when Your answer is not on my time table.
Psalm 11 was likely written during the time when David was being hunted by Saul - 1 Samuel 18-31.
Psalm 12 focuses on our words and we know that our words flow from our heart. Our words are an indicator of whom we love and whom we know. In contrast, God’s Words flow out of His very character and being. They are always true and pure. His Word can be trusted and placed in our heart to strengthen man against anything this world can offer. The challenge - come to Know God through His Word!
