Psalm 17 is a call for justice from the only one who is just - Holy God.

Psalm 19 looks up into the heavens and gives worship and glory to the Creator not the Creation.

Psalm 20 orients our cries for help and our expectation for deliverance…all of these should be turned toward God who we can boast in rather than any earthly thing.

Yield

Lord, I not boast in anything other than you!

Extra Discovery

Psalm 19:6 says “The sun rises at one end of the heavens and follows its course to the other end. Nothing can hide from its heat.”  Certainly, this shows man’s perspective vs. God’s full view.  For me, sitting in Casper, WY, the sun does rise in the east and set in the west.  However, God has full perspective and sees that it is me (and the blue marble I sit on) actually move around the sun.  This is a great reminder to look for God’s bigger vision and plan in life.

Revelation

This selection of Psalms helps us with perspective.  The Creator God of Psalm 19 is majestic and HUGE.  This can make Him seem unapproachable yet this same God is ready to hear our cries for help and answers.  It is this loving and compassionate Savior that we boast in and serve.  Do you know Him?  Do you know of His mighty power that is best displayed, not in His Creation, but in His amazing Love for you?
