3:16 Plan - Week 40 - Day 3- Year 2- Matthew 8:28-34, Mark 5:1-20, Luke 8:26-39

When Jesus puts our minds right, we are ready to minister to those who knew us ‘before’.

Pray The Word and Prepare for The Word

Mark 5:13 - So Jesus gave them permission.

Read - Matthew 8:28–34; Mark 5:1–20; Luke 8:26–39

What the rest of the world fears, Jesus does not.  In this hair-raising encounter, Jesus casts out a horde of demons from a man and then leaves him in his hometown as a witness to the power of God.  Many of us would have wanted to go with Jesus (as this man did) but often God does a work in our lives and then leaves us in a place where our history and our present can be clearly seen and known.

Lord, I give my mind to You and ask you to cleanse it of any oppression.

Extra Discovery

When a Christ-Follower’s Mindset is Morphed by the Holy Spirit, no demon can possess it.  That doesn’t mean that Satan and his hordes cannot oppress us by Misleading and Deceiving a Christian.  To avoid and overcome this, make sure submit your mind to God often and ask Him to protect it and sanctify it.
