Apply

John the Baptist must have doubted what he had originally saw and stated about Jesus (that He is the lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world).  If that mighty man of faith can have a doubt then so can you.  What do you do when you doubt.  You pray to God (as John the Baptist sent a messenger to Jesus).  You hear God’s response (as Jesus said ‘look at the evidence).  You regain your grip on faith in Christ.   When doubt comes, stand firm!

Yield

Lord, give me faith to trust what You say.

Extra Discovery

Read John 1 to see that John the Baptist has already declared who Jesus is.

Revelation

Once Mended by Christ and saved, shouldn’t a Christ-Follower be immune to doubts?  Isn’t that against the rules?  The same enemy that kept you bound in the Marring of Sin now works just as hard to Mislead you and fill you with doubts and fears.
