Fear can paralyze us and keep us from the mission of God and the purpose of our lives.
Pray The Word and Prepare for The Word
John 6:20 - "Don't be afraid. I am here!"
Read - Matthew 14:22–36; Mark 6:45–56; John 6:16–21
Jesus wasn’t physically present with His disciples when the storm came but He was near. Likewise, we must develop a trust that God never leaves nor forsakes us so that we can live with confident expectation that He can see us through any storm.
Lord, I will keep my eyes on You.

Keeping our eyes on Christ when storms persist around us is a spiritual discipline that takes time to develop. More than time, it takes a conscious effort of not letting our Head or Heart wander to whatever mess is around us. Where our Head and Heart focus, our Hands (and the rest of us) is soon to go.
