We are most like God when we choose to forgive those who have not earned it.

Matthew 18:21-22 - Then Peter came to him and asked, "Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?" 22 "No, not seven times," Jesus replied, "but seventy times seven!

Apply


Forgive and keep on forgiving.  Forgive and be like God who forgives us.  Keep no record of wrong.  Let go of your rights.  The laws of the Kingdom of Heaven are very countercultural.

Lord, I will lay down my petty grudges and forgive like You do.

Revelation


We are Mended by Christ by asking God to forgive us of our sin by the power and blood of Jesus who gave His life so we could be restored to right relationship through Him.  If entrance into the Kingdom hinges on our own forgiveness then the value of forgiveness is extremely high.  Let’s walk out our days with a high value on it.
