God’s grace is displayed in His goodness to us in spite of our shortcomings.
Pray The Word and Prepare for The Word

Doing what you think is right when you don’t have certainty is one thing. Choosing wrong when you know the right direction is bold sin. God’s goodness to us is shown when He pours out grace and forgiveness onto folks like Manasseh when they are punished but cry out for help. If God heard this king, he can and does certainly hear you when you pray.
Lord, let me not waste Your grace!
Manasseh is given a second chance that can only be explained by God’s Grace to us while we are still sinners. Read Romans 5 to see how that applies to you.
Manasseh is a picture of the Marring of Sin. Deceived into practicing the spiritual idolatry of neighboring nations, he further divided the nation spiritually by importing idols for them to worship which would lead to destruction for the nation as outlined in 2 Chron 33:10-11. The only thing that saved him and the nation is the grace of God. The only thing that brings us out of our own Marred state is God’s gracious act of Mending by Christ.
