When we see God do mighty things, a song of praise is very fitting!
Pray The Word and Prepare for The Word
Psalm 126:1 - When the LORD brought back his exiles to Jerusalem, it was like a dream!
Read - Psalm 126, 147
Joyous singing is the response to God’s great grace. Generations of exile now getting the opportunity to go to their homeland and experience what they had long forgotten…but first, much work awaited them. To experience the grace of God, we must invest our lives into His plan. Do not sit on the outskirts of His will and expect to find the joy He promises. Find the center and stay there.
Lord, I give my life to You. Please let me experience joy and laughter as did these.
Read Luke 1:49 (Mary’s song of praise) and see her also explain that God has done great things.
God promises to heal the broken and bandage them. This is more than a temporary or physical word and more than just the return of the exiled. This is another promise of the Mending work of Christ that would come from these exiles in just a few short centuries from this date. Praise God that He sees fit to Mend our brokenness (the Marring of Sin).
