God’s great love is for sinners whom He sent Christ to die for…thankfully that includes us!
Pray The Word and Prepare for The Word
Matthew 23:37 - How often I have wanted to gather your children together as a hen protects her chicks beneath her wings, but you wouldn't let me.
Read - Matthew 23:37–39; Luke 13:34–35
Jerusalem had once been known as the city of prophets in that if you wanted a word from God you went there and inquired of the Lord from great prophets like (Isaiah and Joel to name a few). Now their reputation was that of a city of kills prophets. Our actions can take a good reputation and turn it bad but the opposite is also true. If your reputation precedes you in a negative way then report of the behavior, make a change and trust The Lord to change how you are seen by others.
Lord, I will do what is right in Your sight and leave my reputation to You.

The Love of Jesus is so great He desires to draw all to Himself…even those who had rejected Him and where planning to crucify Him. Why doesn’t He? Today’s text says that they ‘wouldn’t let Him’. The Marring of Sin Divides us relationally from God and without repentance will leave us alienated and lost…abandoned and desolate. If you find yourself separated from God then return. He wants you!
