Zacchaeus was short in stature but became a giant in the faith when he pursued Jesus and then left his lucrative career to follow the ways of Jesus.  The goodness of Christ means he doesn’t turn away sinners…they are the precise purpose of His mission.  Our role is to come to Him in surrender as this man did and then to aid Him in that same mission.

Yield

Lord, I will pursue You with all that I am.

Revelation

This man was mended on this day and it caused Him to become generous rather than stingy and honest rather than deceptive.  This is the power of God through the Morphing of His Holy Spirit.  When our heart is changed by the saving power of Jesus we become led by the Spirit rather than greed or lies.  Those changes happen on the inside of us but they don’t stay there but rather they are seen in our actions.
