Read - Matthew 23:1–36; Mark 12:38–40; Luke 20:45–47

God calls us to humility but often elevate themselves to be recognized.  This is not an attribute of the follower of Christ.  Religiousity is not a virtue of the faithful.

Lord, I want to be faithful and need your help desperately for the best I can do on my own is religion.

Extra Discovery

There are things we are to be ‘religious’ about…read James 1:27.

You are Morphed by the Spirit.  This means you can do the supernatural.  That is good news because the best the natural man can do is occasionally follow or create rules (religion).  Yet, supernaturally we can grow in our Knowledge of God and His ways so that we grow in Love for God and Others and then serve Him faithfully and obediently. Surrender to the Spirit’s control and you will live the supernatural and abundant life.
