One way to worship God is give your best to Him as an offering.
Pray The Word and Prepare for The Word
Matthew 26:7 - While he was eating, a woman came in with a beautiful alabaster jar of expensive perfume and poured it over his head.
Read - Matthew 26:6–13; Mark 14:3–9; John 12:2–8
Some were upset by this woman’s offering and even called it waste. No thing is wasted when given in worship to the King.
Lord, I will give You all my worship and praise.
Go back to John 4:21-24 and note that today’s scripture is fulfillment to it.
Jesus is close with His disciples in this home as well as close with others who are not. The closer we get to Jesus the more our own hearts and motives are revealed. Most of the disciples were even more convinced He was Messiah. Others, like this woman, see Him as the one who will Mend all who are Marred. However, some show great disdain when they get close to Jesus because they don’t understand His way. Get close to Jesus and see your own heart revealed. Once revealed, surrender it further to Him.
