Luke 23:8 Herod was delighted at the opportunity to see Jesus, because he had heard about him and had been hoping for a long time to see him perform a miracle

Pilate and Herod play ping-pong with the Son of God!  Pilate doesn’t want to be forced to make a hard decision so he defers leadership to Herod when He finds out Jesus’ heritage.  Herod only wants involvement to be entertained but Jesus gives him nothing.  When we seek God’s power, let’s make sure our motives are appropriate.

Revelation

If we Know God then we will ask for things according to His will and not our own.  Things like entertainment may not always be sin but if we are asking for God to do special things for our own pleasure then we are likely way out of Line and thus do not prove to Know Him well.
