Jesus is led towards the place of the skull where He would lay down His perfect life with humility so that we could be forgiven.  The nails are hammered into His hands and feet and yet He still prays for the forgiveness of His oppressors.  This is the heart of God and needs be our own heart…to forgive beyond anything natural is the supernatural love God has for us and has given us a charge to have for others.

Yield

Lord, I will live with forgiveness of those who hurt me.

Revelation

Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin.  Here Jesus begins to pour out His life’s blood and we begin to have a chance at life both now and forever.  The Marring Power of Sin is being broken and the Mending power of Christ is being offered so that we can be saved.  Praise God.
