Praise the Lord, He is with us even when we find ourselves in a bad spot.  Peter got stuck in prison and God had him released.  Does this mean that God will always get us out of a pickle?  No, but it does mean that God will always be with us through the pickle.  You can trust Him today.

Yield

Lord, I will walk expectantly in faith today.

Revelation

To Know, Love and Serve God is to walk in faith.  This means being expectant that He will prevail.  The disciples sat and prayed for Peter.  God answered their prayers and released Him from prison.  Peter shows up and they seem shocked (so much so that they don’t think it’s really him).  If we strive to Know, Love and Serve God we should not be surprised when God shows up in our daily lives.  This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t stand in awe of His displayed grace in these situations but it does mean that we should expect to see evidence of His grace in our lives.
