3:16 Plan - Week 30 - Day 4 - Year 3 - Romans 13-14

Right living with others can be summed up by finding ways to accept others with the love of God.

Pray The Word and Prepare for The Word

Romans 14: 1 Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don't argue with them about what they think is right or wrong.

Read - Romans 13-14

We are called to obey those that God has placed in roles of authority in our lives whether it be a boss, a parent or a government…even when we don’t like it…as long as it doesn’t go against God’s clear way in scripture.  We are also called to accept those who live in a different lane in life even when that lane goes against what we think is best.  You can accept someone as as a creation of God even when you have fundamental differences.  Accepting them in love does not mean you must accept a wrong behavior in their life.

Lord, I will bow to You and submit to the authority structures You have placed in my life.

Extra Discovery

You will know you are being Morphed by God when you see the fruit of His love in your life.  A good couple of places to look and evaluate are in how you submit and how you accept.  Submission to authority is a hard thing for anyone to do but it is especially difficult for the person who is not in surrender to God’s Spirit.  Acceptance of others is equally hard in a world where we like to be right.  Check yourself in these areas and ask God to grow you in them as you surrender to the Morphing power of His Holy Spirit.
