Chris and Eve Sims

Chris, Eve, Brianna, Katelyn and Emma Sims moved to Casper in 2014 where Chris would serve as the Lead Church Planter of WindCity Church. The church began in their basement in August of 2014 and now meets in the Eastridge Mall.  Their family loves to live, work and play in Casper.  Brianna and Katelyn will soon move to Laramie to attend UW.  Chris led WindCity to establish and Elder-Led church model that now provides leadership to our growing faith community.

WindCity Casper Elder Team

WindCity Church is now led by a growing Elder Team.  Our first Elders were called in May of 2017 after a season of training and preparation.  They are Justin Stockton, Jesse Weeks, Chris Sims and Tom Roach (from Left to Right).  Justin Stockton (and his wife Misty and their children) moved to Casper in December of 2016 to serve as Church Planting Apprentice and has led in many ways to include our youth ministry. Jesse Weeks moved to Casper in October of 2015 to serve God by serving this church and has been a leader in our multi-generational church as well as led in planting a Senior Adult Church that now operates as WindCity North. Chris Sims (and his wife Eve and their children) moved to Casper in June of 2014 to begin the work of establishing a multiplying church. Tom Roach (and his wife Nancy) moved to Casper in July of 2016 and has become an integral part of our teaching, discipling and counseling ministries.  Our Elders provide prayerful leadership for WindCity’s Casper location as well as our church planting endeavors whether planting other campuses of WindCity or through our Forever West Network.  We pray that God will breath His Holy Spirit upon our efforts and that we will grow to know, love and obediently serve Him as a community of faith.
